What Sets Us Apart
To make our patients feel more comfortable we have designed our patient waiting area to feel like a home environment rather than a doctor's office lobby. We have comfortable seating for watching TV, reading a magazine or wide array of dental patient education materials. Surf the internet on your laptop or hand held device/phone with free wi-fi.    Also we have cold bottles of water in a mini fridge incorporated with a coffee bar. We have designated a small area for children to read and color for their entertainment.

Treatment Room Comforts
We offer nitrous oxide; this service is helpful for patients that get anxious about treatment.
For your added comfort we offer patients headphones and a variety of music to choose from to help patients feel more relaxed. If they would like, patients are also welcome to bring their own cd's mp3, or iPod. Virtual video glasses  -watch t.v. while in the dental chair. Additionally we have a extensive library of patient education videos available in all treatment rooms to better inform our patients about their dental care.

Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Implants
Dental implant is an option to replace a missing tooth. In this procedure, a small titanium shaft is surgically implanted into the bone and allowed to set. The bone grows around it forming a tight connection, which additionally slows or stops the bone loss that occurs when the root of a natural tooth is missing. Once the implant is firmly set in the mouth, the dentist then works to attach the replacement tooth onto the top of the shaft. This permanent solution has the advantages over bridge work that it does not stress the surrounding teeth for support, and, should the tooth wear out, another can simply be replaced on the shaft.

Implants can also be used as support as part of an implant bridge. This is an alternative to partial dentures, and has several advantages. First, there is no adjustment period to acclimatize the patient who, once the work is done, only feels teeth, not metal supports intruding into the mouth. Second, this slows the bone loss occasioned by missing teeth. Third, there is no discomfort or difficulty in eating. And, best of all, of course, they don't have to be taken out all the time.
